Blue shrooms??
    #4907969 -

Ok, this has been bothering me for quite a while now, this guy came up to me and tried to sell me blue mushrooms, and i looked at them and they simply looked bruised. I said to him that those are shit because they're bruised. He says to me, no the blue ones are better.
Ive had arguements with countless others that mushrooms dont grow blue, they bruise blue and they turn to shit. Am i wrong?

So im wondering if there is a species of mushrooms that grows blue and is better then most Psilocybin Mushrooms? Im pretty sure i know the answer but just checking

Just because the shroom is bruised blue doesn't mean that it is shit, some of the most potent shrooms I have done were bruised heavily. In fact some will bruise so easily that a finger print can be left behind, just from the slightest touch too.
Most of these h poo grown shrooms will bruise like that, very heavily and easily. Eat em up and walk through another world.

Yes there are mushrooms that grow blue, but they wouldn't be active ones and they appear totally different than a cube. At least to my knowledge anyway. Do some research on it before you have any more arguements with anyone, maybe it is you and not they that doesn't know what they are talking about. You asked.
Not trying to be an ass here either, check it out for yourself, all the info is out there on the www.

Do a few grows yourself and I bet you change your mind real quick on eating the ones that turn blue. If not I can send you my address and you can send me all those pesky blue buggers

Your both wrong, bluing isnt an indication of potency in any way.

IMHO if you know the difference in the chemicals the bluing reaction USUALLY indicates the amount of psilocin in the mushrooms. psilocin is less stable and breaks down very easily from oxidation in most mushrooms with the exception of azurescens, but in this species the psilocybin content is almost twice as much as the psilocin content. psilocybin breaks down in the body into psilocin; I look at it this way, take you bluing reaction and double what you see in a single fruit-body. it's usually dead on but some times you can be thrown for a loop if the mushrooms were treated nicely.

But they are by no means BAD or something you should turn down. That's what I was trying to get across and when you harvest shrooms, alot of times the shrooms blue when you pick them and if he thinks they are dead just because they are blue and not going to eat them because of it....well he can send them my way...LOL

I never said it was an indication of potency but rather some of the most potent shrooms i have experienced were bruised heavily. There is a difference. Sure I have also experienced some that barely bruised and also had great times with them.
So no it is not indicative of potency but rather oxidation of the psilocin/enzymes.

I agree with this. Ive read on countless occasions with cubes bluing or bruising indicates the presence of psilocin.
