I generally wait until the veil just begins to break.

Oh and you can competely dry them out in less than three days if your set-up is good.

Once the veil breaks, the psilocybin/psilocin production begins to slow, or stop, I don't really know. So to get the most potent ratio of psilocybin:mushroom, you want to pick them right after the veil breaks

very good. As for drying what is the perfect set up? I have a bowl w/ damp rid in the bottom and the mushrooms on wire just above it. So how can I make this better????
