Mescaline OD

So far I havnt been able to get an intense trip using Mushroom johns tek. I dont think my stomach could handle drinking anymore of the brew. So I got an idea to increase the potency. Ive heard the outer part of the cactus is much more potent than the inner part. So i am planning on using the same extraction method only cutting out all the whitish parts and using alot more cactus. Which will come out to be about the same amount of the discusting brew.I've read from many posts that it is very possible to overdose on mescaline. I'm curious if anyone has actually experienced this "overdose".

Answer to that is yes Im sure you can OD on Mescaline. Just use 12" or higher but nothing to high like probably 25"-40" for most users.

I wouldn't recommend using just the tea I would extract the chemicals from the tea using a simple extraction method which can be found at Erowids Vault. I'm not saying drinking the tea is a waste of time *ahem*  :rolleyes: but for me it was. I had eaten 6 cacti cuttings each being either bridgessi or torch. In standard torch is the most potent but it highly undependable. I got a trip off of brigessi and nothing off of torch. I wouldnt even call it a "trip" it was more like a glimpse. I've taken the tea so many times I cant stomach it any more so i just use an extraction of the chemicals so I dont take my chances of wasting 5 hours in a day for some bs that wont work.

Whenever I make San Pedro, I use 4-5' of the very darkest green outer layer. I know this is a waste of mescaline in the pulp, but it makes for less concentration and boiling on the other end, which in turn makes it easier to drink.

But, keep in mind that the high alkaloid content creates the unbarably (almost) bitter taste. Though, some say the white part upsets the stomach a lot too.

Four to five FEET? Holy jesus! Do you blend it before you boil it? This time around I'm gonna core it like a pineapple, Blend it, and boil four about four hours or until there is a small enough amount so I can consume it and not puke. I was thinking like 24 inches.

Is it possible to OD?
Do you know anyone who has?

I've always been told that its pretty damn difficult to OD on an organic substance, you would just be tripping for a looong time, but you would probably want to make sure first

umm... yea.. no way to od on organic substances because nature made it or it is made from organic substances and that makes it safe!

You've been told incorrectly. There are many organic substances that can easily kill you. Henbane, hemlock, certain aminita mushrooms, toadstools, coffee, cocaine, opium, other mushrooms, certain animals, and many other plants.

And those are just the ones with the potential for a fatal OD. Too much of just about anything is very unhealthy and can be considered an OD. Did you know you can die from drinking too much water? (A water OD of sorts)

i love san pedro. i use about a 15" section about 2-3" wide. i think the older the cactus the more mesc. if you go out and buy this baby cactus from home depot im sure it is too immature to have enough in there. just my guess though. i would look for an older larger section of cactus if that is the case.
i would try using san pedro next time. it has always been reliable for me, just as gross though.

Just wondering... if you do an extraction does it change the trip much? From what I understand the other alkaloids effect the high... that is partially what makes San Pedro different from Peyote.

Usually a preperation to extract more of the alkaloids into liquid form is used so it is easier. Im not sure if it's any better (doubt it) but by far easier. Also im sure you would still be getting the other alkaloids if there are any because you arent really destroying any alkaloids youre just extracting them.

12" is considered a strong trip dose. This is highly undependable because the volume of each cacti is unkown one might be stronger than the other... and I mean greatly. I would prepare a 15"... or a 18" and drink it all in about 30 minutes.

Example: I drunk a full glass of pervu torch tea and got nothing. I drunk a half glass of brigesii and saw tracers and trails (thats it). Like I said very undependable so its up to you on how much to use just dont use to much.

if you were to just blend 1 foot of san pedro and drinking without boiling would it be any less effective ?

Boiling it helps to break down cell walls, thus, releasing the mescaline embedded within. Blending it will not be suffencient to do a complete job.

hmmm im suprised no one could answer ur question...i didnt think u could od on mesc...ive done it a bunch, always with about 2ft of cactus per person. the trip was smoooth and long lasting. id like to know if overdose was possible.

2ft is just 24" it's hardly an OD (depending on the cacti). The answer to your question is YES you can OD on Mescaline. Though when dealing with fresh cacti it's hard to tell this is because you dont know the dose. You cant tell if the cacti is more potent than the other by just saying it's a pervu torch or bridgessi and it's 12" or 24". You should either extract the pure mescaline content or just drink 12" then work your way up if you have big cacti. Thats just advice you could do your own ways to work across the OD. Im sure 24" wouldnt be an OD since theres only so much mescaline the species can contain.

Example

Peyote may contain %1.0 or more.

Pervu Torch may contain %.4-%.8 (from dependable spurces).
