Sorry about that last post it wasnt very detailed.afoaf has tried pedro syrup 2 times, and has eaten dried skins. Only tripping 2 times , but this time afoaf ended up cutting around 80 inches of san pedro and dried it. it was ground up and capsulated with 90 gel caps that were lying around, anyone ever eaten capsulated any help i could get? thank you

If you eat those 90 caps, all that dried cactus will reconstitute back to thick sludge in your stomach and cause much discomfort.

You're better off cooking it up as you would normally or doing an A/B extraction.

PS: I've had good results cooking dried/powdered cactus before.

I'd go with an alcohol extraction.

Just soak the cactus in 190 proof grain alcohol for a few days shaking the contents periodically.

Drain off the alcohol and soak again with fresh alcohol. Repeat this 2 or 3 times, saving the alcohol each time.

Evaporate the alcohol(away from any flame)and you end up with a tar-like substance that contains your alkaloids.

A teaspoon or so is a nice ride for me. I can't say what you may like.

It will taste nasty, but a glass of water will wash away the taste quickly.
