hey everyone, im new here. anyway i was just wondering about a certain method to preparing san pedro cactus. About a year ago I read a method but forgot some of the details. Maybe you could help me out. Alright so I remember this much, I remember that you have to de-spine the cactus and then you have to peel off the waxy skin. This preparation by the way is for putting the san pedro into capsules. So the rest of it that i forgot was how long do I keep the de-spined and de-skinned cactus sitting in the dark, how thick should i chop up the cactus slices and how long and at what temp. should I bake them at? If any of you know this method please help me out i can't find it on the internet.

First off you do not need to cut the spines off of the cacti. They nbecome soft when cooking.
I just a week ago or so ;osted here a complete photographic pictorial with step-by-step photos to show one how to prepare it.
S noted above, use the search engines. The thread is in this forum.
And tho the person who wantrs to eat it?
Well, I wouldn't.
And also, it would takie fifty to one hundred capsules of the dried cacti to make one 300-500 milligram dose.
