Dear Ex-Boyfriends...
    #4468596 -

Shit clearly did not work out for us, but I'm always going to love you. Even if I didn't actually get the chance to say it to you, I'm always going to look back on all the great memories that we created together and feel lucky that I got to be a part of your life.

My first love, I can't even explain the world that you opened up for me. You took me by the hand and taught me how to feel. Wide coffee eyes, so warm, so wise. I had a dream about you last night, before you called me out of nowhere this morning....just to say "Hi. How's life?" I hope you know that I will always love you.

Each one so different, so unique. Each one full of genuine emotions, feelings, love, like, kisses and all.

My summer love, like a breif explosion. I wish I got the chance to explore what could have been, but that would have been impossible because that's just not what it was. I wanted to tell you that I wanted to love you, but I never got a chance to say, to fall. I guess I could do it now...but that would upset the delicate balance.

I'm getting married next summer to a Sagitarian Monkey. He knows exactly what to say to make be bristle, and he knows exactly what to do when I come home sad. I haven't seen him in 4 months because he's been off saving the world....but he's coming home on Sunday and I don't know if I'm going to make it through this weekend without freaking out.

My past loves have randomly popped up offering encouragement, weather they realized it or not... and I'm so grateful for all this. This journey...

I love.

Just annonymously thanking the boys who came before for being awesome and supportive.  I really do know how to pick 'em!

The secret to being funny is to say smart things stupidly, or is it stupid things smartly? Whatever..it's not rocket surgery...or something like that.

The following is a joke:

Dear ex-girlfriends,

Most of you turned out to be psycho bitches that weren't worth the trouble. But, at least I got laid some.

Love, Randalflagg

end joke

It sounds as if you have been in love before CherryBom. You are lucky. I have been in lust. I have liked girls. I have been fond of girls. I have had two girls say that they were in love with me. But, I haven't fallen in love yet. I hope I do someday.

Your post got me thinking about the Beatles' song "In My Life". Heh.

Anyway, it's great that you've managed to adhere to such a positive perception of your past relationships. I don't know if there are also those which you maintain bitterness for as well, even subconsciously, but I think the ultimate victory that can be derived from ex-relationships is to be accepting of all the aspects and move on dignified and liberated. If you've accomplished this, my appreciation goes out to you.

I hear people say this all the time and I still don't understand where people get the audacity.

If you're holding yourself back from falling in love, then you are missing out on one of the greatest privilidges of being human.

And I feel sorry for you.

How can you be afraid of your own feelings?

I'm not afraid of my own feelings. I'm afraid of women disrespecting them. Which is what happened every time I allowed myself to fall in love. Which is why I don't do it anymore.

what if your husband went around screwing all of your closest friends, and went laughing about it with all his buddies? Would you still think love was great then?

here's a fun little fact of life: people can and will be extremely cruel to eachother, especially where romance is concerned.

Did you have a girl do that to you? Damn...what a bitch!

Did you then proceed to go and fuck her friends?

But...that's not love. How can you even suggest that's what love is? That's cruel and selfish, love is forgiving. If someone did that to you...I assure you that she DID NOT love you. If she told you that she did, she was mistaken on the concept.
