Dont sweat it dude just find lots of stuff to do. Since LSD lasts so long i prefer to do it with other people but thats more because the long come down. I once had a uncomfortable trip due to pure boredom but it was 12+ hours since i dropped and i just wanted to chill out i was so fried. wait what im a talking about you live in NYC i cant see how you could get bored :wink:

Took the MDMA during the NE blackout. We were out for two days. Made walking around the completely black city QUITE interesting.

i've also considered dosing by myself, within the next week but i haven't really decided yet ... i've never had 100% solo-trips of any kind with no interaction with the outside world. lately the only places i even wanted to dose at would be festivals or music shows; staying around where i currently live just doesn't seem all that appealing to be tripping at anymore.

i've got 2 hits of the white perfed, pretty flimsy paper ... real clean, not as strong as the unperfed that i had earlier but it seems cleaner actually. otherwise, i'm thinking of dosing next friday for the sts9 show at 10klf.

Well vinsue, I was thinking that I would cross the park diagonally from the west side to the east, getting lost along the way. Then, by getting out on th eEast Side, I could completely bypass Times Square...

...or as I like to call it....FUCKING HELL ON EARTH.

Then I'd walk all the way down past my apartment (the east village), to the South Street Seaport, then back up again, perhaps by subway or cab. Cab rides on LSD are fucking wild.


And yes once you're settled in we must hang!! I'm getting a new apartment in the next month or so, you can help me and my roommate fill it with it's first month's full of pot smoke.

I'm having such a hard time taking the plunge.

I've been so anxious...I didn't realize I was going
to get such cold feet.

I've slowly begun preparing myself...acquiring minor
necessities and niceties for the voyage.

(eg: cracker, balloons and 2 cases of whippits :wink: )

I think my wife and I are going ot take a bit and
chill at the beach this weekend.

Enjoy the solo trip...they are tons of fun...just be
sure to go out for a walk or something ineteresting.

don't just hole up in your apartment all day.

I definitely won't hole up in my apartment. If I return here it'll be just to take big bonghits, and maybe go up on my roof. I want to do a lot of thinking, not festering...I just want to carry a notebook and music around with me. Sounds so good.

I'm sure you'll have an awesome time once you finally dose...I still wish I knew whether my celtics were active at just 1 - I'm fairly sure they are though, because at David Byrne what I was feeling was ACID, with MDA thrown in...

Buy a fresh eighth of pot. Bring a small batty with me, leave most of the pot at home. Take the subway all the way to the north end of Manhattan, dosing along the way. Then: Walk all the way from the tip of northern manhattan to the southern end back to my apartment, tripping hard while experiencing New York City, my home, my life. Along with me would be water, a small amount of grass and a batty, and my iPod stocked with all the music I could hope for and charged to a full amount. A journey with no map through an island I want to know like the inside of my heart...

that might be the best plan I've ever heard.

the city can be a little rough around the edges, though...

I always see the STRANGEST people while wandering.

That'd just be part of the challenge.

The thing I always worry about is that thought that gnaws at you when you're in public tripping...like..

"Am I acting weird? Do people know I'm tripping?"

Though I tend to assume that I probably seem just as normal as everyone else in NYC when I'm tripping...which isn't very normal, but still.

:smirk:  That's definitely true...even the suits and ties in midtown are fucking freakshows.  I just need to make sure there are a couple of people in town in case I do freak out at all, not necessarily to come get me or anything but just to talk me down.
