I regret to have to bring you the news that www.fungifun.org will cease to sell mushroom related products on the 10th of october 2001.
My goal has been to make mushroom cultivation more affordable for the mushroom cultivation newbie thus to provide spores and cultures for a price, that everyone can pay.
One of the conditions for doing this was to be able doing it as a hobby. Now this condition isn?t met anymore, the whole thing grew too big.
The second reason is that I have to finish my studies, I neglected them quite a lot in the last year, it can?t go on like this, it?s too important, much more important than growing mushroms.
All outstanding orders will off course be fulfilled.
You can place your last orders until Wednesday the 10th of october. Orders with the postal stamp dated later as the 10th of october won?t be fulfilled, so please don?t send any orders after this date.
I want to thank all of the customers for their trust and support. Perhaps i will come back sometime, but right now there are more important things waiting for me.

Growing mushrooms is a lot of fun and very rewarding. Its a great hobby. Growing mushrooms and running a spore business is straight up hard ass work, its not a hobby. Running a spore business takes the fun out of growing mushrooms. It takes a lot of time....time time time... patience and hard work. Lots of hard work and time.
I cant imagine trying to go to school and run a spore business. They both require hard work and dedication. Getting my degree in multi-media was hard enough work as it was. Going to school is very important and I wish you great success. Thanks for giving it a try, I hope you at least learned a lot while running the spore business, perhaps business skills that will help for the future if nothing else.
I hope we dont lose you as a member of the OMC... Anno, you have shared a lot of great info and inspiration to many, I hope you continue with these sacred mushrooms as a hobby and love in your life.

I couldn't imagine doing either one (well, ok, I'll be going to school soon enough), but to run a spore business and school at the same time... no way.

Hi Anno,
I personally wish you the best of luck with your studies and your future endeavours. You know as well as I do that mushrooms are a tool. A tool to be used to help one grow and realize. But like any important tool, there may become a time when you simply no longer need it.
I'm glad that you contributed to this community. And I am sorry to hear that your gates are now closed.
