Pennies?

What do you guys do w/ them? Vending machines wont take them, you cant buy shit w/ them, they're heavy, and most homeless guys dont even want them.

I usually throw them on the ground when I leave a store, or tell the cashier i dont want them.

Pennies are worthless and should be outlawed.

Seriously. Change, imo, is worthless (other than quarters). I went to go do my laundry, and the machines would only take quarters. It's ridiculous.

I throw them in a jar with my other change and then when it's full I take it to the bank and get paper money for it.  Why throw pennies away it's money too?  :confused:

Change is a scam to get you to spend more, in Canada especially. My pockets are always lined with change, and I'm like what the fuck I don't want this change and spend it... fucking change... bring back the dollar bill and two dollar bill! DAMN YOU!

I keep them as charms.

pennies are valuable, as transactions often come out to a total that does not end in a 5 or 0. Pennies are indispensable given the current monetary system here. If a homeless person don't want pennies they can bug off in my opinion, they should take whatever they can get. When I was homeless I loved any change, even pennies. Whatever I could get was a blessing. When you only have to pay a buck fifty for a pouch of top tobacco or a st. Ides forty, pennies can go a long way in bridging the gap between not quite enough and just the right amount. When your homeless you don't buy many big ticket items, obviously, pennies are valuable. They can add up quick too, cause so many people don't give a damn about them, they are easy to get ahold of. And It's fun as hell paying for something with a huge pile of pennies. Great for kicks.

word, it's basically free herb to me ... i usually buy a bag of chronic with my change savings
