Who here keeps/uses pennies?

'Cause I honestly throw them away, like in the trash when I'm given pennies in an amount of change.  Pennies seem pretty useless nowadays, the space pennies take to make a dollar is huge.  One hundred pennies is a heavy chunk of change that takes up like a 2x2 space, it doesn't seem worth it, so I just whip the pennies in the parking lot or slip them in the trash.

Nickels are pretty pointless too.  Twenty nickels takes up a huge amount of space as well.  Currency needs to be re-evaluated I think.

My apologies for offending anyone who's grandfather/friend/relative that works at the treasury.

I have 3 different jars. one for pennies, one for nickels and dimes, and one for quarters. when they are full, I coinstar my pennies, and trade the rest in at the bank :shrug:

collected €0.01 in a jar that kept count and had 50€ after a couple of months

I throw all my coins together in a jar.

I pick out the quarters/dimes/nickels and use them for fast food (when I have it as a treat).

The pennies accumulate; I imagine I'll transfer them to a bag if I fill the jar.

However, that will take a while. I don't use cash very often.

Well I put nickels dimes and quarters in there too. All my change from the day goes into a jar when it's full it's about $50.

There's a lot of talk in Canada to remove the penny from circulation.

Costs more to make than its worth. They are more of a nuisance than anything.

Lets say stuff cost 4.99, you pay with a five, I always feel bad. If I take the penny I feel cheap as fuck, if I leave the penny I feel like I'm saying to the cashier "here you go girl, go buy yourself something nice"

When you leave the penny at the cashier they don't keep it it goes in that little dish for customers to use to make even change.

i use pennies in those machienes that flatten pennies into memorial tokens for places:shrug:

and as ghetto circut breakers.



and as emergcney varorizers:meff:




and as instruments of murder on high buildings.




and sometimes i carve words into pennies and give them away as change; there's more than one LSD penny in the world

Nah, I keep change in the ash tray in the car for lighters and what not.  I just throw out the pennies and nickels because they never accumulate and are shadowed by the larger pieces of currency. 

I just don't have the patience for thems bitches.

And I'm not a brat, I made my money myself with my ideas.

Around here I've been noticing amounts being rounded off up to the nearest nickel when I buy something.
