Are you telling me that a priceless painting will sell for the same price as a worthless painting?

I would agree. Depends on who is selling and who is buying. Each persons view is there own. Just like a person saying its nice out and another saying its crappy.

~ pricless & worless... ummm... are we talking:
priceless... vs. worthless... ?
"the best things in life are free" (old saw) "the best things in life cannot be purchased with money" (attributed to robert a heinlein)
and then would could get into: value esteem effort quality marketing desire compensation wages market value capital expenses
y'know, the whole philosopy of economics & all... but correct spelling might help us to frame the original question... (ignoring other issues of clarity & glib equivalences, etc...) or perhaps not...

That is indeed a bad case of spelling, BUT: Swami, while there are a lot of english folks on internet, there are also a lot of people to whom english is not mother language, like me, english spelling is as distant to me as french spelling is probably to you (or whatever language you study in school there in US)
I know this has nothing to do with not using spellchecker, but I was responding to that part about education.

As you said, if English was not my native tongue or if I were posting on a French language board, I would be EVEN MORE inclined to use the spellchecker.

This is debatable.
but I guess anything is here.
Logically this makes sense. Our world does not turn on the power of logic, however. Especially not when we begin discussing spirituality, or awareness, focus, and meditation.
I guess I don't want to get into this too much unless someone feels compelled to make a discussion about it, but one thought I will leave you with for the moment is this. Would you assume a doctor to be incapable of carrying on a competent practice if said doctor was sloppy with his handwriting? I would consider handwriting a normal affair, yet I would not use it as a gage to measure the competence of my doctor, or as a gage to measure his resolve and devotion to his practice.

Indeed... and I've never had a doctor who didn't have ridiculously sloppy handwriting... I think there's a rule or something.

I agree with you. The only difference is one has value, albeit such a large value that no one can afford it, and the other has no value at all. They may mean the same on paper, I suppose.

they mean opposite things.
To be priceless does not simply mean it can't be bought. It means it holds absolute worth, it is important beyond compensation .
To be worthless means it holds no value. Monetary or otherwise.

Silly person. Maybe we just like to discuss ideas. Maybe it was a good idea that you threw out there to be discussed. Doesn't matter if you think you "got us" on this. It was still a fun idea to discuss.
Now go post some more. Come up with some more ideas. We will discuss them regardless of "you."
