Well friend, I don't have to like his attitude. I did however find his points worth considering, which hasn't been true in the past.

I don't always like your attitude either. But I do find wisdom in your posts from time to time. :heart: :mushroom2:

I'm intrigued. Let me ask you one thing, what exactly did you found "worth considering" in his posts on this thread? Particularly in the one you quoted in your previous post?

Let me ask you one thing, what exactly did you found "worth considering" in his posts on this thread? Especially in the one you quoted above?


Well Egghead, I am not convinced that mind and brain are not the same thing. I have lived my whole life with a brain and mind. I have never had experience in this life of one without the other. Even on psychedelics my brain was always there. So I haven't made up my mind about this issue. I don't know enough to make that decision yet and may not until death. So to me his points are worth considering and you must have to, as you replyed to his posts.  :mushroom2:

Where on this thread did he make any points at all? If you look at what he wrote, you might see that he asked one question, made one assumption and posted a few minor insults.

Well we can evidence eletromagnetic forces, gravity, we can even at this time collect indications for parallel universes, and all of them are not "material" in the classic sense

How can something like a parallel dimension where souls live escape science? How can anything escape science for that matter?

If it exists, it can be measured, end of story

Science is not only about what is material it is a method of explaining things in nature

if there is afterlife, then nature is a bit deeper and more complex that we thought, but that is the same feeling we had when we discovered radiation

Science is far from understanding everything.

Take dark matter for instance, we know its there, but noone knows what the hell it is exactly.

Yes you are quite correct, becuase we can see the effects that immaterial forces have on our material world, but we can only measure the effect of the force by material means. But in order to experience the immaterial as far as the mind is concerned, we must directly discover for ourselves within our own experience. This is the point i was getting at.

Science has possibility of understanding how all processes in nature work

I didnt twist your words, I just dont agree that science can uncover the answers to everything.

If you meant however that everything, including othe dimensions are a part of science then I misinterpreted you.

At this point in time there is much that science cannot explain, even some standard physics principles are not 100% believed to be accurate. As for other dimensions, all there is is theories which can't be proved. Even if they can be proved not many people can even grasp the basic concepts behind the theories.

Are you saying the understanding of everything is within our reach? I dont see how you could possibly know that.
