Greetings Shroomerites,
I have never posted to these forums but have spent many hours learning from this wonderfull resource over the last years. In fact the Shroomery was my introduction to the OMC.
Recent events at The Forest Floor have caused me to register today to bring what I view as a serious issue back to where it originated....and in my view where it should be aired. This out of respect for the host of FF and as it is getting somewhat out of hand...despite our graceous hosts expressed wishes in the thread in question :

The primary and most important information contained in this thread in my view is the implication that McMan has conducted himself in a manner that is SERIOUSLY out of line for anyone in the OMC...much less a vendor. I am refering to the implication that he has attempted to blackmail other well known and highly respected members of the OMC and perhaps perpitrated other unsavory and unethical acts as well.
I DEMAND TO KNOW THE TRUTH !!
If you are involved in this PLEASE speak up.

Well Uma...
I, and a limited group of others, saw the email that McMan sent to Anno sometime last week. It has been kept in the underground until now...
From the looks of it, McMan BLATANTLY threatened and blackmailed Anno (a reliable and very well priced spore provider) with police action. He said that he would have one of the orders to Anno sent to a narc and/or the authorities.
Call me ol' fashioned, but I don't take to kindly to folks who threaten to have my ass thrown in jail, and CERTAINLY not the type of person id want my name/address to be with for ordering some stupid-ass 5-gallon bucket.
Methinks McMan has a community of thousands to do some explainin' to :)

Well, I have some things to say.
I (and a few others) had a discussion with McMan in a thread about him posting pictures at his site that don?t show the actual mushroom strain that is advertised, but a different strain.
While this thread developed, it also turned out that not only he used the wrong pictures, but that this picture has been graphicaly edited to show a more abundand flush. McMan has partially admited that he used wrong pictures, but didn?t admint the (very obvious) editing of the pictures.
Anyway, the thread developed to a flame war more or less until it was closed by a mod.
In a different thread there was the discussion about McMan having a sockpupet, thedm9.
I was prety convinced he had one and i expressed this.
Off course McMan didn?t like this and told me this both in the thread and in PM quite determined.
Then on the next morning I find this email in my mailbox:
I also made a screenshot of the mail including the header. I whitened out the address to which the email was forwarded from my anno.nymer@gmx.at address, since this is my private address that doesn?t play any role in the whole thing.
I couldn?t belive this!! He threatens me with the police!!
I was prety upset.
First thing I did was to notify the administrators of the shroomery about this.
Then I left over the weekend and the whole situation settled a bit. I wasn?t at all sure if I should make this whole shit public at the shroomery.
Until NuShroompharmer lit the fire again at The forestfloor. He accused me of faking this email!!
So I had to react.
I hate to see this get ugly, but I think the community should know about this since I and others took this threat very seriously. I don't think I deserved that treatment, and I am shocked at the behavior of Mcman.....

Well while it is possible to digitly edit anything.... its starting to disturb me how many people are getting so upset at McMan. I hope that peace can me made somehow. However any legal threat should be taken with a grain of salt. He is in the same boat, and besides, if things were not legal how could anyone stay afloat?

Anybody who supports McMan on this matter may as well post a scan of their badge right now.
I take threats like this very seriously. This to me is like yelling "BOMB!" in an airport. You do NOT do it joking or not... And as is obvious by that email it was NOT a joke...
And how dumb can you be NuShroom? Don't you think if Anno were to fake the screenshot that he'd have posted it right away instead of consult others as to what to do about the situation? Like I said, I knew about this threat and saw the message nearly a week before now, when this is all starting to come out...
