Since McMan sells a product that noone else in the Shroomery "club" sells, I don't see how he thinks that any of the Vendors are threatened by his business or why its too much for some to handle. Remember that Ralphster is the spore seller and he isn't being accused of any wrong doing. (I don't personally like Ralphster but I can still support his business). McMan is just blowing smoke so he sounds like the victim.
As for the accusation that the Shroomery only has room for established vendors and they make it hard for outsiders to feel welcome is total BS. I wonder if Una at Mushmush has anything to say about that. He is a very recent vendor that gets nothing but praise. There is plenty of room for decent vendors and McMan could have been one.
He brought this all on himself. He can say its professional jealousy and that all the vendors are out to get him because his product is sooo good. But the reality is he violated the trust of the Shroomery and the OMC. It may seem like everyone is suddenly turning on McMan, but this has been building for a long time. If anything, he was protected with silence time after time after sending questionable PM's and emails. His actions show a well established pattern of abuse and disregard for the OMC and I don't think it should be tolerated. Popular vendors at the Shroomery are not just those that provided good products, but also involved and TRUSTED members of the OMC.
Posting and advertising here isn't a right but a privilege. I am sure McMan will do well using High Times and other means of advertising to sell his wares. The Shroomery isn't the whole world but its a part we can at least try to keep above board.

So again you try to blame this on me. Blowing smoke is not going to work, you explained your actions for that email in a PM to me, if you want I can post it to show exactly what you said, that PM you don't deny the email, you explained why you did it in fact.
Try to play the sympathy card, how sad we all are and that how could we do this to you. Try looking hard at yourself mcman, do you remember offereing me loads of $$$ to do something bad against Ryche??
I read that email, it definately sounds like you, and it did originate from you... So as far as I'm concerned it is you who did threaten him, considering how important you place safety its very ironic you threatened narcing on another vendor to as you said "get them the FUCK off my back!!!"
I hope you do well with your pod, ironcly thats something you'll never understand, I don't want your business to fail, I don't want you to be hurt by this, I definately don't want Ralph hurt by this.... I could not have said it any better. I 100% support Workmans statement on the above.
Its McMans actions againts some of the vendors here and the admins of the shroomery that brought this on, he IS NOT the victum here.
There is a lot more going on with McMan behind the scenes with his actions and threats in emails and pm's here. Not to mention a lot of aggrevation he has brought many of us with his behavior in threads here. Many of which are deleted later.
I know the admins and many of us vendors here are just tired of his wrecless behavior and we just want him removed from The Shroomery. There are plenty of other places within the OMC that he still has a 2nd chance and can still sell his product. That is not our immediate concern, its up to those admins and members to deal with McMan and his actions. I for one am glad McMan and Ralphster have their banner on the high times website because it takes business away from a big scammer we are all aware of Spore Trading Post (STP).
I for one am just appauled to find out about his police email threat to Anno. Now that is a wreckless business practice McMan.
I'm also very pissed off about McMan offering money to Thor to have all my posts deleted. That would have caused me a lot of pain and waisted time because I do use those threads for reference a lot. I hate retyping things over and over. There are some other things in the past McMan has done here to cause me a lot of aggrevation and waisted energy because it was so negative. I could go into detail of many of these things but I dont have the time right now.
Granted, McMan has been helpful to many around here, but at what cost to all those he has caused a lot grief too?
As to Teonan's statement about McInformation and now we have plenty of misinformation with McMan being gone. I wish I had spent more time around here lately to see what else he has been posting wrong. My vote is to have McMan banned from the shroomery. He causes way more trouble then he's worth and I'm personally sick of his bs. Maybe one day he will change his ways but I dont trust the guy as far as I can throw him. I can not say that about any other member here at the shroomery that I have seen lately.

As I and alot of other people know (I am not immune) there alot of immature and petty things go on here. After this is all said and done, you will not see many posts here by me nor at Florest Floor because I for one don't ask questions about these things to forums. I have more than enough information doing my own research and talking to people than to sit and ask the same fucking questions over and over because I am too lazy to do my own digging. Not to say I won't be around because for all the shit here this place is full of good information.
With that said, I would like to state that I am glad to see Mcman moving along. I hope Ralph will continue to be a prominent figure here and I hope NuSroom will stop being a prick and quit defending everyone but himself. (No offense NuShroom but you do.)

Also, I really don't think McMan does these things with a game plan. I have seen others act this way in life and in my years on the net. I really think its more a split type personality in a mild form. One minute your loving the community and the next you are attacking someone (and McMan was very intellectual and hard to argue with). I think he is correct about one thing and that's the root to his problem; paranoia yes indeed.
I really do think McMan is very smart, most creative and artistic people have drawbacks. Hemmingway, Poe, to name a few. I am not trying to go off subject here, just pointing out that its not pre-planned in all of its nature.
One last thing, the more laid back a vendor is and neutral in arguments, the more respect they get. So its great to speak on this but if I was a vendor, I would add my comments and then worry about my own business.

I agree with everything you said in that linked post Ryche!!!!
I too have had discussions with McMan about information I did not agree with. But the guy was pretty smart about environmental stimuli, directly related to his commercial experience. I still believe using a pure strain from a known fruiter is the best way to go, even with cubensis. But for all practical purposes it is not NECESSARY, and your results speak a thousand fold about that.
I do think the misinformation to information ratio goes up a little when the guy leaves, he had his moments of clarity, and his moments of confusion. Don't we all!!! I just hate seeing people leave here, but I certainly am not Priveledged to all the behind the scenes activity that goes on here, so I am sorry if I am uninformed. I still am gonna miss the guy. I liked the discussions I had with him. He certainly never caused me any problems!!!!

The BB logs that your username voted, not your IP, that statement is a default one. Cookies doesn't change that, the board recognizes that your nick voted already.
Besides if we went only by IP, the dial up users could still cheat, so obviously that method would be very flawed. But we don't log IP's anyways, so its not even a consideration.

We don't log IPs but just about every ISP does so anyone visiting a site that has to do with illegal things, be it overgrow.com,shroomery.org, or any other site should use a proxy. This site has always stessed the importance of security and always will. That is the main reason we started the security forum, to inform people about the evils of technology these days. We take every precaution to insure the safety of our members.
