hey how are your little guys doing now? its my first time growin too and your terrarium is quite diff. from mine. nice way to humidify. i think you should buy some silicon glue and glue the plexi glass onto the lid. it makes it airtight if you do it right. the duct tape will prolly eventually wear off or somethin. the whole lysol thing wasnt a good idea. your pressure cooker should be enought to stelize it and if you inoculate in a draft free place, you should be all good.

dude punch the holes in your lids before you use them. fill, tyvek, cap, then pc. no need to chance more contams if you are going to stick with the coffee filters. trust me i learnt the hard way, before i found the shroomery and all these guys and gals with great info to help us all.

Sean, the microfilters (tyvek)/(polyfill) also help keep the moisture IN. The coffee filters would let a lot out. Shit, it'd be better to use aluminum foil.

Lysol spraying on the coffee filters is bad. Sorry. But, using Lysol to sanitize a room before "work" is good.

You might want to try it over again.

If you've used all your spores.. ugh, you've got a tough decision. Keep what might be contaminated or otherwise bad in the jar and 'waste time', or get new spores (or do a Karo jar or liquid culture or whatever you want) to do new jars.

oh if its 94% then the rh isnt too high its jus perfect
and if its not spikey and more like round bumps then those are hyphal knots which r ure first signs off fruiting

is this blue tint psilocybin / psilocin that has bruised? i can now make out the gills on a few shrooms. im expecting to eat them friday with two friends. how many fresh shrooms will we need to trip usual dose.

it's mycellium not mold big diff.
bluing is probably bruising. to find out take a q-tip and gently wipe the blue area if something comes off on the q-tip then it is a contam, if not then it is just bruising.
the smaller ones where the caps have gone almost black are aborts. just pick them off when you pick the others.
