Very risky to use coffee filters. Find a local FedEx location and try the Tyvek envelopes.

Just cut out a circle that's larger in diameter than the mouth of the jar. Lay the circle on the mouth of the jar and screw the ring on.

and yes, lots of handholding -- i like to do things right the first time. if you have a problem with my numerous questions you can stop answering them. or write a tek.

You dont't use Tyvek for the PF Tek. Try reading the FAQ for more information concerning the PF style of cultivation.

It's not for the pf tek....per say.
It's for quart jars of Rye and birdseed.
I wouldn't waste a filter on the PF tek.....or a cake.
