Nah it can take a few days, or week or so before you get signs. Don't rush it. Growing takes patience more than anything else...

Lysol and cleaning disinfectiants like that cause Mutes, never spray around fungi like that...

For those who are new to this hobby, please don't rely on this logic. If that is your only protections against contams, you are asking for trouble. How complicated is it to go to your local post office and ask for some tyvek envelopes? You can get BUNDLES of them for free

i wasnt aware of how much the filters mattered. not much contams so far. although one jar looks a bit different. the circle patch of myc has spore print looking mold. is this a contam or myc. i will post pic tommorow.

If theres black on the mycelium its mold throw it out before it enters your other jars right through the coffee filters
