New guitar

It's not bran new, because it was handed down from my brother to me. It's a blusey looking red Epiphone. I'm pretty excited and I hope I get a lot better at it  :laugh:
Practice, practice, and some more practice. I'm learning a Jimi Hendrix song also.
Edit: took the "HURRAY!" out. It was really gay sounding.

Learn the begining to Castles Made of Sand. If I remember correctly the first minute of the song is really easy. Im not to positive on that though, I havent touched my guitars in months, along with listining to jimi hendrix.

As well as the C major scale (learn 2 or 3 of the patterns for this; there are many) you should also learn the Am Pentatonic. You'll never find a more useful scale. Have fun man.
