Just take his name down. I'd want my name off the internet too if it had info like that on there. It may not be the place future employers get background information on him, but friends, family or aquaintences occasionally put the names of people they know into google just for kicks. Now you're going to force him to tell the story over and over each time someone googles his name. And even if it is cached in google, they won't be able to read the whole story until they link to the site.

MOVE ON. LET THE PAST GO.

i agree with what seems to be the majority...take his name down. it's very unprofessional of you to be keeping his name up on your website and i too, googled for his name and found the first page on the list to be yours.

this whole little dramatic occurance will stop as soon as you just do a small bit of editing to your html files. doesn't take more than a minute or two...who gives a crap about freedom of speech and copyrights at this point, just do the right thing.

It's nice to know that you do all that you can so people will have a hard time due to their drug history being known. Perhaps I can e-mail some instutitions that fund your *Ahem* thailand trips, and let them know some of the scuttlebutt surrounding your propensity towards going to SE Asia, and see how far you go. I'm sure with your MASSIVe collection of degrees, you could find a job somewhere else. Oh, hah, wait, what degrees.

I think it is more of a pride issue at this point. If MJ takes the name down, then he would feel he has given in and lost the battle that has began from this controversy. Im a little confused about the copyright's and how difficult it would be to change. Im sure MJ would have never posted it to begin with if he knew it would have blown up into something like this but now that this feller has threatened MJ, he probably feels taking down the name now is a bit like folding under these offensive and profane intimidations and admitting guilt.
