some crazy chemist out there should develop a drink or a pill that resets your tolerance to pot. because i don't get high anymore unless I take a good 3 - 5 day break, but even then its not the same.

what do you all do to keep your tolerance down besides smoking less...

i try to limit my smoking to just a few times a day, only 1 bowl per sitting (usually), nothing but good WB rips of the chronic, i drink only water and beer and i try to exercise a lil every night

but ending last month and having lasted for like 3 months prior, i couldn't get high like i do now cause all i'd do was sit over at my dudes place and smoke nonstop and play video games, GL

If you need a 3-5 day break, you need better weed.

How much do you normally smoke in a day? Limit yourself to a few times a day, and use a pipe or blades rather than a bong. A large pipe bowl of well-ground/chopped weed will get anyone high, unless one's weed is bunk.

There's two ways to fight marijuana tolerance.
1) Smoke less
2) Smoke marijuana with a different cannabinoid profile

You need to diversify your profile :stoned:

I smoke medical weed in cali and I use a vaporizer as well as a bong occasionally and sometimes a BUKKET.

I get high as fuck everytime it just doesn't last like it used to and I'm not getting as high as I used to get high back in the day. I've succumbed to stoner-hood.

THC stays in your fat cells all over your body including your brain. The half life of THC is so long that the only way to do it would be to invent something safe to decay THC, you would be RICH!! :moneyeyes:

No, marijuana metabolites stay in your body for a time.  They are inactive.  THC is metabolised into these metabolites :wink:.

The tolerance effect has more to do with particular cannabinoid receptors being tickled too much in a short period of time.  This is why you should smoke marijuana with a different cannabinoid profile - or take a break.

It is possible to smoke every day and stay very high all the time - you just need a fuck of a lot of different strains at ready access.  I mean different strains - similar strains will build tolerance upon each other.  Most people don't have access to such a wide array of cannabinoid profiles, so most people have to take breaks.

If you could do that, anyone could smoke weed, drug tests for thc would be a joke. Someone please come up with that, then i could smoke more than 1 or 2 times a month.

Stopping is the only way I've found to reset your body back to its natural marijuana settings.

Why not take a month-long break or so from bud and experiment with other drugs? There's plenty of ones out there that need more profiling after all, and when you come back to pot you'll be ripped again.

Not to mention that, unless you grow your own, you'll probably save quite a chunk of money.

I tried a vaporizer for the first time the other day and got real stoned, without the choking..tastes killer too..a friends got lung cancer so now they only vaporize. its almost like the buzz you get when you eat it
