You sound suprised that all the new youngsters are into just FEELING loved, secure and safe. Most were not raised feeling these things so they cling to them during youth.

Hmm...

The loss of innocence... yeah, once it's gone, only a shadow remains.
However, I'm not wishing for bad times for anyone.  I guess I got enough hugs as a kid.  Damn.

But for now the former forum of S&P is dead and we have The David Icke/ Art Bell/Starchild/2012 forum  best just laugh it off and perhaps pick up the pieces of the many shattered "beliefs" once their own delusion becomes apparent.

Ugh...

Hell some of this stuff MAY be true, but until someone delivers something besides the "I think/I heard/I read" evidence, we all are just speculating about much of our subjective experience.

The really tough part is holding back all the weird shit I've experienced...
I don't want a bunch of back-patting and mumbo jumbo.  I want my perceptions bitchslapped until the truth bleeds out.  But bitchslapping will get you banned from S&P these days.

I will not forget your or your words, dare I say My Friend? This ain't no maudlin Goodbye post just a eulogy for something which is dying as we know it.

Oh, I think I can call you a friend.
Anyone who can have a real discussion with me is at least my friend.

Don't make me take control of your mind again like I did last weekend. Remember when you drank too much and fondled that girl? That was my doing not yours. This is your last warning!

In a persons mind, their beliefs aren't false, otherwise they wouldn't believe them. So for that person its ok to hold false beliefs but a pain in the ass for others.

what about tough love?

Annnnnnd I had a light saber and my friend was there and I said "you look like an indian" and he said "you look like satan" and he found a stick and a rock and he named the rock ooga booga and he named the stick Stick and we both thought that was pretty funny. We got eaten alive by mosquitos but didn't notice til the next day. I stepped on some glass while wading in the swamp and cut my foot open, didn't bother me til the next day either....yeah it was a good time, ended the night by buying some liquor for minors and drinking nips and going to he diner and eating chicken fingers, and then I went home and went to bed.
