vivid dreams
    #3570700 -

i just had these dreams.

first i was at my grandparents house while rolling. it felt very real but weird stuff was going on around me. my sister was there and her face was getting all distored and starting to melt. then that one ended

then dream 2 i was out past "police curfew" and some cop was trying to get my id and i was like NO then while he was talking to me there was a ruckus involving 2 or 3 cops and a guy with his hands tied behind his back trying to run then some naked asian man took a picture of it. i saw this as my chance to run so i bolted but then got grabbed from hind and thrown on the ground, then i remembered the E pill in my pocket and panicked, i was going to try and grab and eat it before i got searched. i was very scared and had a pretty intense adrenaline rush but i just woke up.

I have vivid dreams on nearly a daily basis. I don't try to figure out what they mean. I'm almost of the opinion that they don't have any special meaning. I just enjoy the show.

I've found the best times to have these vivid dreams is in the afternoon when you aren't particularly tired but you could lay down on the sofa and just really relax and go into that half awake, half asleep state. Sometimes, I'll leave the television on at a low volume and the sounds will incorporate into my dreams in weird ways.

Oftentimes, I'm not the "main character" of my dream. In many instances, I find that I'm a third person observer and I get to watch the dream play out like a movie. If this happens during one of my afternoon naps, it's great because I usually know I'm dreaming and once I realize it I can make the dream go in whatever direction I desire. I have to be careful not to exercise too much control over it or I'll wake up.

Only on rare occasions do I ever realize that I'm dreaming during a first person account of a dream. These are however, my favorite dreams. Instead of watching things happen, I get to experience these happenings and change things along the way. It seems there's a fine line between that half asleep, half awake state though. It never lasts longer than what seems like 15 minutes or so. I either fall into a much deeper sleep or I wake up and find it hard to get back to sleep.

If you enjoy vivid dreaming, then I suggest you experiment with different times, beddings (sofa, recliner, guest rooms), lightings, and background audio stimulation. In my case I experience these highly vivid dreams in places other than the bed I sleep in at night. Possibly because my mind is trained, out of routine, that the bed in my bedroom is a place for restful sleep and this possibly prevents in-depth, vivid, and colorful dreaming.

i feel just like beetlejuicy. i have insane vivid dreams everynight. you probably do to, you just dont remember most of them. you gotta make a concious effort. i tried interpreting a dream for the first time today. normally i just accept them for what they are, awesome, intense awe inspiring mental adventures.
