Wild Pleurotus Ostreatus Fruiting (NEW PICS, LESS ANTLERS)

Last fall the midwest was very dry, but I always seemed to find enough oyster mushrooms. This culture came from a wild fruit found in Madison, WI at Picnic Point. The log I found was laying directly on the ground and was fruiting right above the ground/log interface. It was mostly singular fruits but there was one decent sized floret. I cloned that cluster onto agar. I know I took pictures of this mushroom, but I cannot seem to find them now. If I find it, I will add it. I simmered some organic rye on the stove for 20 minutes and then drained it in the sink. This is an old picture, now a days I soak my grain 25 lbs at a time in a 5 gal pail in the bathtub. When done draining it is loaded into quart jars and PCed. For those you who know me as the owner of an AA941, you must realize this is again an old picture. Under the flowhood I inoculated 5 quarts of WBS. These are not the same ones, but nonetheless: grain spawn under flowhood. The grain was then spawned into these two straw bags. The bags are regular small trash bags. They are ready to be fruited in this picture, but I was still unsure of my shelf terrariums capabilities. I decided that with only two blocks, I might as well expand them. This would also give me some extra time to work on my terrarium. I filled a regular plain cotton pillow case with prechopped straw put that in my largest pot and set it on the stove. I used regular bricks to hold it under water. I used a candy thermometer to keep the temp at around 160F. I accidentally let it get above 180F, so I cooked it a little longer at 150F. After an hour fifteen minutes, I take the whole pot into the bathroom with the help of my roommate. Pick up the pillow case and empty the straw onto oven racks covered with window screen. It takes awhile to drain. I consider it ready when I can squeeze a handful and feel water come out but not drip. If it drips it has a long time left to drain. This is a superspawning so I used this handy tub to mix uncolonized and colonized straw. Fill up the bag and be sure to press it down as much as possible! It's going into my shelf terrarium. This is a standard shelf can be found at most hardware stores and Home Depot. It is plastic (ABS IIRC) 6' tall 3' wide and 18" deep. It's covered in 6 mil visqueen available at your local hardware store. I have pictures of some beautiful pin clusters, but I've hit my upload limit unfortunately. New pics coming soon.

As I said I was unsure of my terrarium. I started it at full blast at 1 hour on 2 hours off. I found every thing soaked afterwhile. It even soaked my hygrometer/thermometer and made it stop working.
Right now the thing is on minimum output same time schedule. When it is on, there is a fine mist in the air, most definately 100%Rh. When it is off, I find no mist in the air and a large amount of condensation on the shelves and walls. There is a slight pooling of water at the bottom. I was thinking of two things that could fix this. First is to remove the bottom plastic and just let the water get caught by towels underneath the shelf. My second idea is to increase the frequency and decrease the duration that the hummer turns on.
Any thoughts?
Look for pictures of primordia tomorrow.

I run my ultrasonic 1 hour on/2 off. it works well for fruiting oysters from punctured bags, but casings and open topped bags fill up with water from the fog.
It works well for what its used for. my humidifier has a mositure level that increases and decreases the fog output levels, I run mine wide open.
At home depot where the drywall mud is there are black tubs for mixing mud. A standard 4 tier greenhouse will stand upright in one. I simply dump the water weekly, then pour half a bottle of h2o2 in the tub for cleanliness.

I think I do have it knocked. It is at 1 hr on and 2 off with the hummer at minimum output. I don't see any cracking fruits and the amount of condensation has greatly reduced.
They've got HUGE stems though I think I have a stagnant air problem. Any ideas on that?
Oh yea, I've got 400kb of upload allowance so I'll upload pics of fruit bodies.

If your stems are fat, try to get more oxygen to them. Radio Shack has 110 fans that are great for air exchanges.

When I saw the CO2 problem I started fanning the terrarium with newspaper when I visited. Now, another bag has flushed. It started pinning later than the other bag. This one looks much better, but there can be more improvement in consistancy.
This was this morning:

It's the white balance on the camera or he didn't use a flash on the first pics.

A couple people have asked me for more unseen pictures of my oysters and the farm that I attempted to run last summer. Unfortunatly I had to move only a month after the flush in the pictures. Several of the logs that were inside never were fruited. It was rough, but I learned a lot. I wasn't able to set up the farm in my new home, but rest assured as soon as I have the time it will be back up.
The pictures are all below:

The lab was in my old apartment. I wanted the grow room there too, but since it was a rental my folks and I decided my their house was better. The room is a closet in the basement. Two walls in the room are perimeter walls. I painted those walls with DryLok and then glued 1x2s onto those walls with liquid nails. I did this because I read of condensation problems with perimeter walls. After than two layers of 6 mil visqueen was stuck up with staples and silicone. The air system was 2" PVC with a CPU fan pushing air through it. It was okay, but I think more air exchange would have been beneficial. I tried using a single disk ultrasonic fogger hooked into the air system, but since the mixing was done inside the humid environment it fried my fan really quickly. I had to use a Vicks Coolmist in front of a box fan for humidity.
