I'm being put through a spritual war.

I don't know these people but they send lots of hatred. It has kept me in chaos for a long time now and i'm trying to get out of my town. But it feels like there is no hope.

They manipulate my words. They manipulate what we do. The town I live in has been over run. So if anyone in Arizona or someplace far far away from Naples can help me find a place to live and a then help me find a job let me know.

eww naples.. I had a bad experience with some roommates from Naples. Those kids were rich, crazy and eventually got kicked out for robbing someone point blank with a sawed off shotgun.

The word "spiritual" and "war" don't go together well.

There may well be a war from their point of view, but don't buy into it.

I'm going to make a post in the thread about letting thoughts turn into delusions, this thread was basically on what I feel I've been going through.

When I say they manipulate my words I feel it's like what they are saying is something that I already know they are going to say. I don't know it's just like when I've been talking to friends lately everything seems to turn against me. As If i were crashing inwards.

Naples... lots of rich geezers down there... lots of doctors there, too. Big houses on the ocean... no gates. The city center is a stucco mall with spanish tile. No room for the poor or the young - except for the service industry (now hiring ass masseurs!!).

You need a younger town. Try Miami... too big? Try St. Pete (historic housing is cheap there). Try Tampa (Seminole Heights is a hotbed of activism and art). Or just do the old-fashioned thing - leave the state and hope that New York or California hold something better for you.

i think you should think about seeing a psychiatrist droz. I a tenuos grip on consensus reality is OK, but yours seems to be leading you to paranoia, fear and depression. Time to get help

I got some sarcastic responses to my simple assertion that there are no sides, so I thought I'd expand a little on that:

There are obviously many differences amongst human beings. The most obvious ones are physical. The other person may have black, brown, or white skin. He may be tall, fat, skinny, hairy, etc. He may wear a funny hat or no hat at all.

We also have more internal differences: aggressive/passive, extrovert/introvert, ignorant/wise, Republican/Democrat, etc.

In spite of all of our differences don't forget that we still have far more in common than we are led to believe. We all need food, shelter, love, and purpose in our lives. We are all born from the earth and will one day die.

The differences are real, but in focusing on them people forget that we also have a hell of a lot in common too! Taking these differences too seriously and being overly attached to them is fuel for the fires of division. You go to one part of the country and people there act and dress a certain way, root for certain sports teams, support certain political parties and think they are better than people in any other part of the country..Entire nations think they are more special than other countries and that there citizens lives are worth more than anyone elses!

Considering that humanity has reached a point where we could actually destroy ourselves with our weapons, don't we need to pull back and realize that at heart we are all One? There are no sides except the ones we create to make ourselves feel special. So what I'm saying is don't buy into the idea of a war..when you realize there are no sides then no matter what the crazy ones do, you still have peace inside. You can't control the world, you can only control your inner life.
