Question about jars

Hey, Im wondering what type of jars are okay. I have a ton of Kerr wide mouth mason jars. Im hesitant to use them, because even though they are wide mouth, the body of the jar tappers to the mouth slightly. This might be a problem for getting a solid cake out, because it would most likely be bigger than the mouth of the jar. Any suggestions? Also, i plan on casing the cakes, is it possible to break up the mycelium while it's still in the jar? That way i could still use these jars.... Thanks

Yes to all your questions---breaking the cake up is also no as the crumble cake tek crumble you cakes to marble and pea size pieces and then put them in your container and case them with 50-50+ mist them and let them go from there
