Where can I find Jars?

Where would I be able to find the perfect jars for growing. Half pint jars-wide mouth. I can't order online cause i don't have a credit card. But if you know of a site that takes cash or what stores carry them? thanksssss

i couldn't find half pint jars cause every store says they are out of season so i went to a craft store and just bought pint jars i noticed they had a spot for half pint but none in stock check your local craft stores

i just went though this myself tuesday ... i did find some in MEIJER ( sp? ) look in the pot's and pan
it was like 7.07 a case of 12

Try hardware stores. The same isle as the pressure canners/cookers or ask a clerk.

I don't know where you're from but in Canada you can get the jars year round at Canadian Tire.
A freind in the States told me he gets his jars from the Home Depot

hey if you got a King Soopers around, try there!

When I went jar shopping, I've gone to 5 different King Soopers and all of them carried jars!!!

Grocery stores commonly carry them. Food Lion keeps them in the same aisle with bottled water & paper goods. I would think your best bet would be food stores (remember, people use these jars for canning jelly and stuff) or maybe kitchen stores. In Target, I've seen them (when in season) in the housewares section, and I've seen them in Walmart near small appliances/pots/pans.
