Just wondernig what some people use for their jar's, like what did it use to contain? jelly? other food's, stuff like that, i couldnt find 1/2 or 1 pint jar's around , or its probably just that i wasnt looking very hard.
So where did you get the jar's from ? walgreens? wal-mart? etc.
Any help would be most appreciated.

Depends where you are and the time of year. I've done some canning, so I had the jars. Canning season (generally fall in my area) jars are plentiful, found at Marts and even grocery stores. Other times you'll have to search harder. Try flee markets, garage sales, etc. Who knows, you might find a pc or humidifier! shrewman1

I agree with KoOs,

Fred Meyers seems to have the cheapest.

They even carry the Plastic lids !!!!

Yeah Pleezr told me.....he got ball plastic lids for like $3.99 for 8 or 10 lids.

I found mine at Walmart, in the Housewares section.

They had some sweet Ball Wide Mouth Half Pint Tapered Canning Jars

Just make sure their tapered because your cakes wont come out of the jars if they arent!

its canning season, jars are everywhere. wal-mart has the cheapest and biggest selection of jars. fred myers has the same plastic lids micron magic has but they are only 2.50 for 8 pack.

TrueValue had a pretty large selection. They're not in seaon here, so hardware stores are the best place to go. I remember it cost $8.63 for 12 1/2 pint wide mouth jars, because my change was $1.37
