plastic lids and filter disks-how to use?

this may be a dumb question-
i recently won 100 filter disk in the raffle-+ some syringes (gc,pesa, mex planeque and ecuador)
when they get here, how do i use them-LOL
i plan on ordering plastic lids to go with them(all my lids rusted)
the lids will have 1 center hole-i use 1/2 pint jars-
so will i inject spores strait through the disk or what?
will the one hole make a difference during colonization vs. 4 holes
and does anyone know where to get plastic lids with 4 holes pre drilled? so i dont crack them(i already cracked a dozen i bought here, they were very cheap ones though)
thanks

Man, you may want to reconsider those plastic lids. i use polyfil filter floss filters in my metal lids, and i tried 12 jars with plastic lids.. they all contam'd.
i threw all my plastics out.
the problem is, the plastic mason lids dont have the rubber seal like the metal ones, and i think thats where the problem arose. it could have been a complete fluke that they all fucked up (only did 6 w/ plastics) but htey were all spaened from different days.. so i dunno.
Why are your metal ones rusting. after you wash them, dont just throw them in a big pile, lay them out separately on some paper towel.
no need ruining equipment dude

well i have thyis damn probem when i rebuilt my incobator to hold more jars-i now have condensation-sux-i am fixing to rebuild it again with out using rubbermaid containers and use plexiglass instead,so maybe this problem will go away-
after i wash my lids,i bake them to dry them on warm in my oven(my grandmother taught me this when i was young-i used to watch her can)to prevent rust
maybe when i rebuild it next monday it will solve this problem-
i was aslo going top use the filter disk with the plastic lids-
did the jars that contaminated on you-did u use plastic lids and filter disks? or just plastic lids and poly?
peace cookiewhore, and btw your pic isnt showing up-lol
also i plan on using 1/2 pint jars-will they fit my jars?

first off i wouldnt recomend useing filter discs or plastic lids with the PF tek and half pints. they are better for rye in quart jars. if you want more holes drill them yourself. and a little rust never hurt anything with me, and i have lots of rust on some of my metal lids.
