Psilocybe cyanescens in Switzerland and other species

Hi, Remember that this is just aqbout two states in Switazerland: Vivey and a nearby township.

This is froma Dutch Journal. Now there are psychoactive Inocybes and liberty caps and apaneolus subbalteatus and a one time collection of Copelandia bispora b from Bern Switzerland, but never again co for the copes. I posted that article here a few years ago.

Here is the pictured information wwith one of my photos in the Dutch Journal AMK Mededelingen for which Tjakko Stijve wrote the article.

Really cool! We need more fungus out here in Florida! Hey--- I was reading a really normal mushroom book and it had a blip about hallucinogenic fungus.... They said that Boletes and Russulas were potently active??? Any truth to that?

Nice publication MJShroomer, I especially like your photo!
Just two small remarks in the sideline: AMK is not Dutch, but Belgian (Antwerp is a city some 30miles south of the Dutch/Belgian border). Also, Switzerland is not devided into states (it's just too small for that :wink: as are many European countries). I suppose they have some devision in departments (called Kantons I believe).
I'm what the Dutch would call (in free translation) an 'antfucker' (someone fussing over unimportant details) you see :wink:

Yes, you are correct, Switzerland is divided into Cantons(maybe it is spelled with a K?).

I suppose translated into English it would be spelled with a C. In Germanic languages, this would be a K.

I really meant to say Towenships. Yes Antwerpo is not were I was thinking.

Stijve's journal articles usually appear in the BMS. I( think iti is in English belgium and Swiss or something similar. Have a lot of his papers in a little journal published int hree languages, But Tjakko is Dutch and has lived in Switzerland most of his life while working for Nestles.
