i just ate my first home grown tai koh samuri mushrooms. i ate 4.3 grams dried.. and was kinda nervous that it could be too much. i barley tripped.. i got a decent buzz.. but 4 grams... that shouldev sent me elsewhere... i quess im just spoiled . i live just outside of chicago and we get mushrooms seasonally from colorado florda and oregon.. somtimes newyork.. but i was disapointed

well- I dunno what to tell you, but the shrooms I grow have sent everyone I know who've eaten them into orbit-- I have been growing the same EQ strain for a while now and let me tell you, I could easily confuse these with copelandias sometimes (well... almost)... I do grow them at temperatures colder than most people which helps, and also harvest them early, but they are absolutely incredible... I had my first "bad" mushroom trip on 2.6g (ground up on an empty stomach with a little passionflower tea), it was just too much to handle and I went completely through the roof. I gave 0.9g dry to a friend of mine the other day (with about another gram or two of aborts) and he was babbling incoherently at his peak. The point is that cubensis mushrooms aren't "not all that potent" ... their potency depends on a great deal of variables... better luck next time, maybe you should try pan cyans or trops, or I could grow some of my casing of EQs out and send a spore print :-)

the strain i was growing was tai koh smauri from the hawkseye. I dunno enviormental factors seems good they were beutiful. I just didnt think they were all that.. maybe they could have dried more but i believe they were fully dry

Even at 400lbs the trip should have been strong. Were the caps at full flower? Were the mushrooms dried right? Harvest when the caps are getting ready to break the veil, a friend has experience with the same strain and not as strong as some others(opinion) it's still a great strain when grown, harvested and dried correctly..........

i picked em as they opened just like staments say s in the cultivator. they were beutiful text book cubs... i just didnt think they were all that potent. im trying b+ and cambodian next maybe ill appreciate those a little more. Id just eaten gels tabs two days prior and they were dirty as hell. but ive eaten acid one day and mushrooms the next and totally lost it. As for drieing i dark dried them for 4 days or so.. i believe they were totally dried but i could be wrong

Cubensis are extremely potent, certain strains that I grow are almost as potent as the Azurescens I grow. No kidding. Just focus on one perticular strain and keep printing out the "bluest" in a sence. And no there are no built imunities to psilocybe. Ive gone months with every day eating handfulls, then the next day just eat like 3g and still tryp balls. Any way dont let your last batch get you down, keep on growing and tryping. eventually the potent ones will start to grow. later on, PsiLLy

Judging by new's posts, I'd say he is the problem with the mushrooms. Accuracy in growing is key, and just look at the errors. (sorry, I'm a newspaper editor)

cubensis are average to mild on potency, compared to the big-hitters like cyanescens and azurescens...hopefully ill be able to get some cyanescens spores soon i wanna start growin them soon. anybody know any good places to get cyanescens spores? like a place that you've actually bought from and they actually delivered? i dont want to be ripped

It all depends on the person, my girlfriend trips hard at 1 gram cubies, I can have a nice at 3 grams, I have bad trips when ingesting more than 10 grams (is under investigation but limit is set here till else is experienced).
So it all depends on the person. The strain might also make a difference, like there are various cubie strains wich can all have different trips (in a way).
Copelandia's make it hard 2 sleep for me, when on cubensis ecuador I almost fall asleep right away (when finished tripping).
But than again who am I?

i think it has abit more to do with the weight of the person but i guess some people might digest the mushies faster or something. But netherless tolerance does build up.

my 13yo brother has a web site, anyways i went on and it still seems liek he's an idiot who has way too much time and knows very little about the subject at hand.
he's got Psilocybe cyanescens labled as simply Psilocybe mushies, i guess if you don't know teh diff then you wouldn't be able to name em properely. Besides he's giving out directions to a shrooms fest or ssomething online, is this a joke or is he a narc?

anyways concerning your pa or pc question i believe spore lab has P.C prints and syringes, they are really cheap 3syringes for 25 canadien and he is a good supplier(i've ordered from him) but he is rather a ass hole, but anyways unless Hawk or sporechicks have em go with Spore lab at www.sporelab.com. the main reason for ordering from him (Capt. Max @ spore labs) is price, your not going to get em any cheaper anywere else so i personally would go with him.
