Don't know- I've never met one. I am just extra cautious around everyone. I even get paranoid that other people think I'M an undercover cop so I try not to ask questions and shit that would make them paranoid.

Well there are some steps you can take if buying/selling things that will help. For instance..never actually hand a product to someone and take the cash. If my friend brings someone i don't know.. i go in the other room and do business only with my friend w/o his friend actually seeing the deal. Always set the product down so they have to pick it up and leave the money, that way your not actually exchanging it. Personally i rarely rarely sell anything to anyone i haven't known for years, and if i do i have to be fairly sure they are good people. Though i have traded with shroomerites at gatherings, i have never sold anything at them for cash. In any event, use common sense and becareful out there guys and gals. Peace.

my friend once asked a dealer,
"Can I buy a...Marijuana Cigarette from you!?" all excitedly, and the dealer wouldn't sell it to him because he thought he was a cop
(it was my friends first time smoking, he'd never bought anything, haha)

don;t sell drugs and you greatly minimise the threat. trading always results in a secure feeling. i've never messed up and traded for drugs from a cop.

You can tell someone is a narc by getting to know who your local police are. As for undercover cars, they drive anything thse days, again look around when you see them.
I've seen cops in dodge trucks, shit boxes, Lincoln Mache III's (or is it mache 8?), Fords (explorers, crown vic, mustangs), Oldsmobiles. They drive everything in any color now adays.
They can be anyone doing anything. They can be posing as a couple on a date or as a bum spanging for change. They might act like a college student or a walstreet stock-type.
Most cops have a "I run this shit" attitude most of the time and it is really out of place since almost no people besides cops really run shit at all. The ones that hide this attitude are the ones you have to be careful of. The UC's who are really good are the ones who can get under the drugworld's skin.
Some narcs become good friends with people and really infiltrate the drug game. Saying I'm friends with this guy and buy all the time, etc. and get away with learning who does what with whom and how it goes down. Weeks later, a whole string of people are busted and shit's fucked half the way up the chain.
THIS COP JUST WENT BY MY HOUSE IN AN UNDERCOVER CAR JUST NOW!!
Fuck! I could see his badge and everything.

i hate when cops are in undercover cars.. biotches.. they used to drive by my house in my old town all the time.. it was nothin personal though.. that town has more police per capita than new york city.

good advice from iluan and magnum.
in general they have no shortage of cash and are willing to buy whatever you have for however much. I dont know, no set 'how do you know'. Theres a lot of good chameolans out there.

i heard somethin like that story..spooky stuff.
these cops weren't in 'unmarked' cars, just cars that werent cop cars and had a little 'police' painting on the side of them hidden away somewhere. that town was crazy. there's only 6000 people there and you can't drive straight through it without seeing at least 3-4 police cars (it's only a 5 minute drive straight through the town).. i'm surprised i didn't get arrested there
