 help my monitor is making my skin very dry!

I have a 21" CRT monitor and i spend quit allot of time in front of it doing research, playing games and posting here and it dried out my face.
I know for sure its the monitor since when i work at my laptop for a few days my skin gets much better. When i sit in front of the regular one my skin cracks up like hell.
Any ideas what to do?

i know! i never had any problems before. It got worse when i started scratching. Now even when i take a break it just takes a few hours infront of the screen to make me relapse.

Well, all it's doing is shooting millions and millions of electrons at your face all the time. Let's see.
You have a 21 inch monitor, so let's say you're running at
1280x1024 @ 75Hz. This should be a big number 
1280x1024 = 1,310,720 pixels.
1,310,720 pixels @ 75Hz refresh rate = 98,304,000 electrons being shot directly at your face and into your eyes every second, for hours at a time =D
Thats what coming out of your monitor. LCDs = <3

Well that makes more sense. Photons = not harmful. That many electrons every second would surely hurt you after a while.

Ive got a 21 inch crt monitor i sit infront of more then i should. I love it tho. If that thing died i would cry.

I use a sun 21" monitor and my face does not dry out. I think you eat to many drugs!
