crumbled casing?
    #312443 -

can i take my fully colonized compost trays and crumble them on the bottom of my sterilite container? i want to have an even surface, and a bigger compartment for fruiting. would this encourage contaminants? if so, does using a constant warm airflow via CAPTAIN'S OVEN TEK do any good?
and what are the chances of the mycelum to recover for healthy fruiting?

and that I was just doing what was necessary to stay comfortable while I waited to die...

ok.. cool brother.. if it's fully colonized ... there realy is no  way you can contaminate it (unless you got your sterilite dusty/dirty) any way .. just transfer... your going to have to wait for the mycelium to recover but you waited all that time for the compost to colonize right??;)... and adding more compost... hmmm i dont know... i would just work with what i have ...and not throw another, possibly fatal, element into my 1st time ...anyway- good luck ... peace
