rotten mushrooms

I just harvested my first batch of mushrooms, and wanted to eat some fresh this weekend. I put them in a paper bag in the refrigerator because I thought they would keep for a short period of time. Well, about 24 hours later i looked at them and noticed that they just started to rot. I immediately put them in front of a fan to dry them out. After I did that the rotting did not get any worse. I will probably eat them regardless, but was wondering how much this will reduce the potency and digestibility, etc....
