heat & no refrigator - DUNK between flushes problem

hello guys ..
my problem is
my house is 80F at nights at this season this is Very Very hot and i cant make my house cooler
so my problem is about REDUNK
i dont want to put my pinned cakes 24 hour dunk because its obvious to me that im gonna compromise the pins and i dont have refrigator
anybody knows alternative method of rehydrate my cakes ? or any way to overcome this situation

Most of the pins should be fine and the dunk doesn't need to be refrigerated. If you have some larger pins, like half-grown mushrooms I would just pick them though it's possible that even they could survive the dunk. There are alternatives, you could set the cake is shallow water or inject water into with a syringe but they nearly as effective as dunking.

80 degrees isnt too hot , but f you are concerned , you could get a bag of ice and add it to your dunk water

yea ice is a good idea or if you're lazy just leave the faucet on for continuous clean and cool water

If the cakes are fruiting and you didn't mist enough to maintain moisture, simply set the cake in a saucer of water overnight. Alternatively you can pile up some verm on top of the cake and soak that. RR
