Mushrooms & Meditation

Just curious who else is using this to engineer their own mystical experiences.. it pairs excellently with the methods of Dzogchen and rituals of the Diamond Path. I think Catholics could really benefit from this as well as any religious or spiritual practice involving visualization and prayer.

I've had visions of Padmasambhava flying over me and around the room that was so realistic I could feel the wind blow over me (while indoors with no wind source) as he passed. Afterward I recieved a teaching from a Mantoid Buddha who spoke in rapid clicks. Now it seems silly just to eat them for fun, but it hasn't stopped me yet. It's all enlightened activity anyway, right?

I think many do here. I don't often but last time I tripped, the door to vision and travel was wide open. I thought I went back in time estimated some 50,000 years, hanging with ancestors that were also tripping.

I always use it as a meditation ritual. Specifically for visualizing states I intend to experience as a mental rehearsal

any mental exercise can be called 'meditation'
however meditation is not all the same thing.

the scene you are so delighted with is referred to as 'maya' or illusion, and is considered false or illusory attainment.

drumming up visions can use up your mental abilities and leave your ability to connect with yourself, the moment and others in the dustbin.

IMO. seeking tranquility is core, and being in the moment is core, and the rest is decorations for a party.
