I will offer up that you might be seeing it on the surface because the condensation against the glass letting bacteria go crazy rather than bacteria in hiding within the surface of the glass. Have you noticed any more condensation than usual lately?

Well, to be honest, I didn't particularly notice it...

The day before yesterday I prepared 3 cakes, yesterday 1 more and a few pucks. I've already soaked these in bleach for ~1 hour and scrubbed them harder than usual. Next week a few cakes will pop out, freeing up jars β€” so I'll make new ones repeating the strategy.

So the answers will come by themselves. If it stays the same β€” I'll focus elsewhere.

I have a test BRF Puck that turns two weeks old today:



A few days ago this popped up on it, and it's staying pretty much the same.

Making pasta sauce from scratch



Gonna freeze most of it so I can use it for spaghetti and pizza sauce later, and make a creamy pasta sauce for dinner tonight. I think I might throw in some bacon too.

I love taking leftover mashed potatoes, whipping in a few eggs, and laying it on thick with salt and pepper. Fry that up for some good ol' Mennonite peasant food. My grandmother called it Kartoffel und Ei. A very imaginative name lol

I have never tried instant. The texture might be a bit off, but I bet you could compensate by putting in a couple extra eggs

Took all stuff that looked decent enough, and its now dehydrating, to make lil permanent agar chips with mycelium and pins, a monument to their wasted potential.

Just took a bunch of L-Theanine. I'm getting off kratom and it really takes the edge off. I decided I was ready for the step a few weeks ago. I've been maintaining really well with coffee and weed.

L-theanine is great, I consume a lot of caffeine and it def helps kinda smooth things out, so to speak.

I pour thick in condiment cups. these were reject plates, i normally 2x any transfer. So I end up with a lot that is fine but there was better, or slightly sketch.

The ones drying could still be leveraged out with a spoon if that makes sense.
