I will offer up that you might be seeing it on the surface because the condensation against the glass letting bacteria go crazy rather than bacteria in hiding within the surface of the glass. Have you noticed any more condensation than usual lately?

Well I waited until my pond got healthy enough to support life and then I decided to go and get some and then people sold me a bunch of fish that would get way too big for my tiny little pond. I don't know anybody who has an aquarium I don't have anywhere to put them. So I got a bigger pond.
I'm thinking of converting the small pond into a more amphibian Ford pond focused on largely plants. The other pond is the aquarium. It's got all my fish in it.
These are three of my Chungi right there.
Each of those get easily a foot in size.

Oooooo, gotcha, so do you actually have to keep those guys warm vs just not frozen solid?

Well, to be honest, I didn't particularly notice it...

The day before yesterday I prepared 3 cakes, yesterday 1 more and a few pucks. I've already soaked these in bleach for ~1 hour and scrubbed them harder than usual. Next week a few cakes will pop out, freeing up jars β€” so I'll make new ones repeating the strategy.

So the answers will come by themselves. If it stays the same β€” I'll focus elsewhere.

I have a test BRF Puck that turns two weeks old today:

A few days ago this popped up on it, and it's staying pretty much the same.

Hugs

Making pasta sauce from scratch

Gonna freeze most of it so I can use it for spaghetti and pizza sauce later, and make a creamy pasta sauce for dinner tonight. I think I might throw in some bacon too.

I love taking leftover mashed potatoes, whipping in a few eggs, and laying it on thick with salt and pepper. Fry that up for some good ol' Mennonite peasant food. My grandmother called it Kartoffel und Ei. A very imaginative name lol

I have never tried instant. The texture might be a bit off, but I bet you could compensate by putting in a couple extra eggs

I just spent two hours going over my  agar graveyard, ermmm, old folks home?

Took all stuff that looked decent enough, and its now dehydrating, to make lil permanent agar chips with mycelium and pins, a monument to their wasted potential.

Well what did they look like per say? I had some agar cups that were old with pins that never really went anywhere and threw them in grain jars just to see. They are looking good so far a week in. The transfers were made back in july so they were old to me anyhow

Just took a bunch of L-Theanine. I'm getting off kratom and it really takes the edge off. I decided I was ready for the step a few weeks ago. I've been maintaining really well with coffee and weed.

I pour thick in condiment cups. these were reject plates, i normally 2x any transfer. So I end up with a lot that is fine but there was better, or slightly sketch.

The ones drying could still be leveraged out with a spoon if that makes sense.

I've got couple of plates from oyster clones sitting here next to me. They started eating the dye from agar. I wanna release them in the woods, just procrastinating. Kinda feel bad for them:facepalm3:
