I dunno why, but I always imagined prison food to be like what you'd get in an elementary school cafeteria in a poor neighbourhood.

Uncle Ben might be too fancy for 'em.  I mean, why give your prisoners even baseline nutrition?  You're allowed to literally enslave them.  Slaves should feel lucky they don't get fed from literal sewer pipes.

Don’t incur any infractions, get on garden team for good behavior, tell the warden horse stables give crap away for free and it’s great for the gardens (which will reduce food costs), wait and hope a bunch of cincts come up in the garden.

It's a good challenge! I might join in.

By the way, this month I'll pick up the ink experiment again, this time using Tween 20 instead of detergent. But I'll also scrape up some ink that had detergent in it β€” I've got it right there on the shelf.

Going back to the challenge β€” I take it vermiculite is off the table, right? We should define a list of available ingredients and tools.

I know it’s bad but I can get down on some spread :frown: never served serious time but way back had an older buddy that did ~10 years that insisted on β€œcooking” all the time :lol: some ramen and ready rice with a little cheese and diced pickles and beans and diced meat stick, fine layer of crushed chip sprinkle over the top. Shit was banging to a stoned 17 yo :stoned:
