Appreciate the vote of confidence.  I was thinking they were looking pretty good but this morning their growth was a bit more vertical and fuzzy.  I think I’ll try a cabin or two just for the experience / entertainment.  Along with some regular transfers.

Absolutely, that's what I want to hear, you can't go wrong gaining experience and going for it.  You should be able to clean those up no problem.  At the end of the day, we do what we do to play with blocks and trays and hopefully make it to the finish line... with high praise.

I didn’t know they last that long in the fridge. Do you think vacuum sealing them I could keep them a few weeks no problem?

Stones aka sclerotia are tough and I have never vacuum sealed them, but for a few weeks, should be no issues.  I think I had stones in the fridge for 6 months or more, and they were just starting to get darker, and I didn't go any further.  Had to many, the story of my life, but enjoyed them on the micro and MACRO level.  :laugh:

I always let mine go for two, but if it’s clean there’s no reason you can’t go longer, they will keep pushing em up it’s just diminishing returns

Last tub I let it ride longer to see if gills would turn blue just for photography reasons, they fully twisted and days passed and never got blue. And I said fuck it and harvested. And noticed that the texture was slightly... mushy or too wet, dont know how to describe it. I was not a fan.

I rather pick firmer fruits.

Cool, I was hesitant cos some people talk about the Marshmallow thing that Jack Frost is best to pick kinda late when stems feel like a Marshmallow. But some other people say that more mature fruits lose potency.

The thing with non or transparent sporulating varieties is that it is not as easy to tell when they are done. And then the stipe turning soft is a good sign, but its not like cubes gets more potent with age like Subtrops, so if they seem done growing then harvest, in my opinion anyway :awedance:

You take it to a microscope and look for a lack of clamp connections. Pretty sure I seen some guy on instagram show a way of doing it without a microscope but it just seemed like educated guessing.
