I would butt chug Headies, I think he's hot. He only blurts out bs to look tough but I'm sure he's all warm and sweet on the inside. Maybe even fuzzy. Would love to see those green cheeks blush.

I confess, this year has been unrooting, arduous, informative beyond my ambition, and the biggest evaluation of my self proclaimed growth. Nothing is without cause, even chaos serves its purpose. I will continue my path through the unknown flames with my head held high. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing.
Only I will remain.

I miss this place, I miss my friends, and I miss cultivation more than I could ever imagine possible. Love one another for that is our most bountiful gift we are blessed with, it springs from a boundless well. I look forward to my return to cultivation one day, God permitting.

For now I'll leave you with this haiku

More you look you find

Milkboy serving up complex carbs, none of that wonderbread.

I'm curious (and this goes out to anyone), what techniques help you get past the "shock" or "paralysis" of fear. For me, two things help:

1) Trust in my resiliency. I don't know how this situation will play out, but, if things go bad, I've bounced back before and i can bounce back again.

2) When i reach the other side of this, I will still be myself. If I can act in ways that are true to myself (my ideal self, ideally), then my regrets will be low and I'll sleep better at night.

Would love a third tool in my toolbox.

I trust the best version of myself to make all the decisions. Never make decisions past dark or when you're tired. That can be interpreted a number of ways but the verse I say in my head is: Don't decide in the dark.

My best weapon is to remain present, fear rarely presents itself in the now. Typically it relies on temporal distortions to manifest itself, therefore to focus on the here and now, to act with intention and with right action we can eliminate most of our fears. It is an ongoing battle that requires vigilance and persistence, but it is not a sentence that must be served till it's end.

True! Well put. Now that you mention it, being present seems to give me access to all the arrows in my quiver, whereas dissociation makes me forget I'm wearing one.
