Cool project! Next addition could be an app for your phone where you see what the camera sees but data about the plates shown as an overlay. Or even an app for those voyeur glasses :grin:

Is the data about the plate encoded in the QR code? Or is it a reference to a database record or something like that?

Love it. ShroomCreep™. The latter, rn. Encoding all of the info would require more squares in the QR code (and require a reprint to update), and I want to keep it as simple as possible so that it stays easy to print and read at tiny sizes. So just a short ID. like 0001GT etc.

After much faffing about I have finally landed on a sticker whose img and text hold more data.

Im guessing that you want to store more info than is on the pic above...

Pardon my dumbness, but my current record keeping only involves Genetics name/Transfer number/ and sometimes the date if im feeling particularly intelligent at the time of labeling
