Even thinking about consuming mushrooms makes me nauseous. I can be 1000km from my home and even imagining eating mushrooms takes me 90% of the way towards thinking.

For me, the best way to eat them is with Jello.

I make tea as usual, reduce it down to about 100ml, and then do math to figure out how much jello powder to put in.

It will set after a couple hours so it needs a bit of planning. Although, recently I've been making it a bit on the liquid side so I can slam it back like a shot.

Walmart sells Starbust flavored jello. The red flavor erases 100% of the mushroom flavor, even if the tea is dark brown from having a large dose boiled down.

My MIL also makes rice crispy squares which are quite good as well.

In short, sugar and lots of it.

Its that i cant sleep after it keep me up for general the other day i took some at like 7pm and ended up staying up all night because it is so hard to fall asleep after.., believe i would never wanna sleep my trip away that shit is tooooo much fun lol.., @ Puff that definitly sounds like a good way the jello shots i can get behind that thanks

I used to be like that. I've always been a night owl.  so I just tend to stay up for super  extended periods  of times o. The daily.  At least I did before I had children.

It's weird though at some point it just changed and for the most part I can fall asleep pretty easily after trips.

I can definitely remember and relate to the feeling so tripping for 6 to 8 hours and then no matter what time it was usually 7 or 8:00 in the morning continuing to stay up for a whole another day or so.



Im actually  huge advocate against Xanax and benzos .  But if they're not like an issue for you and you only take a tiny little bit.  the lowest dose.  Even a baby dose. after a trip and you only trip every once in awhile that definitely helps a lot.

That's what I used to do when I had trouble sleeping after trips.  I would have used an opiate instead but I was getting clean off that.

Do you wait extra time (days?) after poured petri dishes cool down before inoc? Why or why not?

The same question concerning grain jars after pc and before inoc.

Not being able to sleep after is just how it goes. At least for me.

A couple shots of tequila sometimes help, although I usually just watch movies.

It's not a bad idea to let poured plates sit for a week to see if any contam shows up until you're 100% confident that you can do it without any contamination.

Kloakk (and probably others as well) like to shake their jars a couple times a day for a day or two to redistribute moisture before innoculating.

I did it once. The grain turned out amazing. It's not necessary though as long as your grain was allowed to completely dry on the outside before you PC'd them.

Thats a good question. How important is this batch of grain?

If it were me and it was important id probably add time to the cook (your guess as to how much is as good as mine)

If i had time materials and space id stop the run and do it properly, remaking it if it comes out too dry

I only dose after 5 if i dont mind staying up past midnight.

I would. Without venting it's full of pressurized air which will not get anywhere as hot as steam under pressure can get.

And how’s your stomach in general? Do you tolerate other mushrooms, or do they give you heavy digestion?

I used to grind them up and mix them with grapefruit juice — sometimes they sat a bit weird with me. But now I'm fine with just chopping them up and chewing them. I actually kind of like the flavor, to be honest. And I think that by chewing them, the stomach prepares itself better to receive them.

yeah good point and you are very much correct but this whole thing is very new to me the process and the outcome which is why i come to the forum made for asking question about it .., to educate myself but you are correct i am quickly learning that timing is everything

i actually do grind them up and them boil them in a tea but i feel like i lose alot of potency this way ..., this is a resent thing anyways i figure since i have a surplus of these lying around im trying to figure out the best way to actually enjoy them

^ making tea is an art, and yeah, unless you do like 3 decoctions you are losing on potency. Chocolates are super easy, I just became a full convert.

Simple Chocolate Recipe:

1- Find cheap compound chocolate, not the real stuff. Like those coin chocolates or something.

2- 10:1 ratio chocolate/shrooms.

3- Melt half of the chocolate by itself, in the microwave, in 20 second intervals, mixing it in between.

4- Once it is very nicely melted, add the rest of the chocolate, mix, microwave again maybe one

5- Once you have a uniform thing, start mixing in the powder, small amounts at a time rather than dumping the full thing, keep mixing.

6- Once you feel confident its well mixed, spoon the mixture into a mold, icecube tray, or sauce container. Then put in fridge.

Within 20 minutes, you've made dope chocoaltes.

This was my first attempt, I used a dollar store $2 coin that had 120g of chocolate. I added 12 grams of shroomies or so.
