I confirmed my suspicions so bear with me for reviving this log. The last plate I grew out struck me way more like TATs than actual yetis. Plus the trip was weak as hell.

I had one plate I decided to grow out and see what happened.

Isn't yeti a expression of TAT? Wouldn't they be similar in potency?

Yeti is a more concentrated version of TAT.

TAT is the “parent” phenotype of yeti.

The potency is not the same however.

My concern with the first plate that grew  out was how the cap opened ALOT. That’s not common with most yetis I’ve seen. The cap opens and then ruffles. 

The other concern was the lack of bluing. I was pretty rough with the first tub cause how big the fruits were and was a fairly big canopy. But just no bluing.

This tub had the ones growing out as the pins were coming in elsewhere and wanted to harvest the big guy. Was able to do gentle twist and pull and still blued.

I know people say the bluing isn’t a true sign of potency.

But I’ve never had a grow where my strong boys didn’t blue.

I’ve had ones that didn’t blue that were hit or miss.

True Albino Teacher

There’s a Golden teacher that’s called the White Golden Teacher but it’s just a leusistic variant of the Golden Teacher.

The TAT is a true albino that became the parent for other varieties/expressions like yeti and ghost and the other popular one is Jack Frost but that’s a TAT/PE cross

Harvested more of the tub. Wanted a better pic of bluing and cap not opening up like the first tub to show off more what my concerns were. At this point, just for logging purposes, I am certain there was some sort of revert from the first plate

The caps in the first tub open up way too much
The stems were way to long
There was virtually no bluing.

Walks like a duck. Talks like a duck. It’s a duck.

Looks and acts like a TAT. It’s a TAT


Glad I grew out the second plate I don’t have the skills nor patience to usually isolate like some of the more dedicated growers.
