and I had a jar that was riddled with stones and maybe with something else as well? Can't remember if it was producing or tammed out.




do you have a clue what does initiate stone formation or is it just genetics? I think I had this plate in the fridge for a couple of weeks but others were not doing this.

And yes, exotics will often do that to cubes, but I am slowly finding my way back to cubes, not like with exotics, but still.

I was wondering, how will you manage temperature for pans, I believe we have a pretty similar climate and fall is here

No worries, it's easy to get sidetracked here

I haven't given up on cubes completely yet, I have a Toque F8 culture going after a previously failed attempt with them, but I'm pretty sure that I will not consume them.

I'm in the process of building a Martha/fruiting chamber of a small insulated cold room/fridge. For heat source I'm going to use a heat tube similar to the one you use in your fridge setup.

Oooo, I'm really excited about the Toque F8, so much so that I don't even want the old fruits I have laying around, but never tried, so I revived it a couple of weeks ago to grow some new fruits lol.

It's supposed to be really potent, I'm reviving it mostly because it is unstable at the F8 as well so I'm going to see if I can find something fun
