so the other day I took a "heroic dose" this was after eating an 8th and thinking this was so fun but anyways so then I wanted to see how mine stacked up to others so I grabbed an 8th of someone and literally tripped my balls off for lik 8 hours so then I was like wtf which lead to this hero dose so anyways I take the 5 grams and it's like blah, wasn't even as good as the initial first on. Now I'm all jealous I guess cause my genetics suck and comparing up to some randoms that I just tried to see are so much better .., and that shit is depressing to do all this work for a grow and find out your genetics suck and I got them off of one of the trusted vendors on here not saying anything about that I just figured if I grabbed it from a vendor on here it would be fire plus it was mislabeled as ape and it's not ok rant over sorry I had to vent that. Point is I need to find better genetics I guess... sry my typing is atrocious

I've felt this way for the last few trips I've had. I hate it when the trips are weak/suck. I immediately don't want to trip anymore. And I've actually thought about stopping it altogether because of these last few trips.

You gotta get yours from one of the trusted cults on here, not vendors I guess.

My jealousy knows NO bounds, and I'm NOT happy for you Kloakk, this is Bullshit, the audacity is preposterous... ok I feel better, in all seriousness, keep doin' what you do fungus friend.  In the short amount of time I've been here, always solid advice and helping others be successful is a selfless act and has its own reward.  Congrats, you are definitely an asset to the OMC... hopefully for years to be.  :peace:

Yes yes yes, new TCs in the house!

Puff isn't representative for the average tripper, I'd strongly advice anyone not to replicate his doses. As Kloakk says subtropicalis (semperviva) is a great step-up from cubes. Panaeolus cyan and bispo are also very good choices and just a tad more difficult to grow.

But

Woodlovers are very easy to cultivate, they just take a llllooootttttt of time, and they represent 100% bang for your buck. No casings, or pasteurization, no additional tools or FCs required. They blast cubes out of the water potency-wise and require little or no care after the spawn building phase. I am not on the payroll of Big Woodlovers, in case anyone wondered, but try them! Woodlovers

This goes for both of you!

You've acquired the skill to grow those mushrooms. Just because you may not have the genetics currently doesn't mean you just give up. it means you go hunting!

Just like Beef told me, "its like riding a bike". Once you get the hang of it it just goes when you want it to.

Don't give up just because what you have now isn't exactly what you want it to be. Imagine what it could be if you keep going and then come across amazing genetics. If it's only about the trip then just go buy some. But if you want the wisdom that comes with it, keep going, you're only 3 feet from gold!

----Edit: In my experience you have to wait until the trip calls you, it will seek you out when you need it the most. When you're always searching for it you'll come flat. Don't force the universe, when you need it most it will be there.

I confess, I was lazy yesterday and didn't wanna drive the extra ten minutes to go get the bags of sorghum I've been doing grain prep with and am comfortable with, and grabbed a couple bags of millet from the closer store instead. I've never used millet before and figured it couldn't be that different, it did not go so well πŸ™ƒ maybe the longer time needed for the lower psi instant pot just isnt the move with millet

hulled millet you get at the health food store turns into a delicious porridgey mush when cooked. unhulled/proso millet is the stuff you get at the feed store and can handle the PC times just fine.

Yeah I kinda had a feeling it wasn't the right starting material, oh well, never getting that again lol. I have 2lbs of sorghum ready to bring redemption upon my domain.

lmao and funny give this man another badge lololll .., but i believe im pouring it to hot and the condesation is adding i usually pour it seal it with cling wrap and then put it in 1 sandwish bag then another just to make sure

I pour my plates hot as fuck because I can't stand having the agar gel up on me, solved the problem with getting armhole covers for my SAB and leaving the plates for two or more days to clear up before I wrap them :awedance:

I'm definitely not giving up I have literally fallen in love with the act of cultivation , this is probably going to sound delusional but I feel like a low level god(I hate to use that word cause I am far from it) to be able to grow and create something with my own hands not to mention that the particular something is so mind blowing awesome to take and has literally saved my life I would probably be dead from an overdose by now if not for this amazing blessing .., but like I said before I'm just butthurt because I want my creation to be the best kind of like how I assume a father wants more for their son I want the thing I create to be awesome as well but anyways I'm definitely not giving up at all I'm going to keep working on my agar/cloning skill which are honestly shit right now and I will eventually create or find the genetic that I am longing for. Thank you for your words because what you say rings true to me it will come with time:mushroom2::rockon:..., @Kloakk thanks that is a good idea thank you i have a sab but no arm holes i will work on that and i recently made my own diy lfh which seems pretty good tho i have not tested it yet

Just kidding, if I were to build a new SAB I would use inspection hatches.

You're not dumb and I'm sorry for making you feel that way when I knew exactly what you meant, I was just kidding around, still a little tingly from yesterdays buzz :muppet:

And no, fuck them air blowing sleeves, I was just talking about covers to close up your SAB while the unwrapped plates clears up the condensation after pouring.
