I had to be fashionably late for dramatic effect :grin:

Started mostly by lurking and made an account to get help, and man did I get help. My first grow stalled, posted in beef's all in one disaster thread and got advice to save the current situation, and help understanding it in the long run. Shit I couldn't have asked for more, I got handed a couple of fish but also the resources to learn how to fish myself.

During the process I started to get to know you all and I hope to make some mush needed long term friends here too

I plan to be contributing more soon. Got a 'Shroomery' spore to mushroom journal using some BV swabs Azure gave away from the market place that hopefully will be going to grain soon :mushroom2:

Guys I was on vacation somewhere without cell service! Haven’t even read the thread yet. Just wanted to say I’m not gone. Just was with fiances family with no service the last week and a half! So much to catch up on! I will go read now…

I did remember you saying you had just finished your Masters and I had suggested maybe it was possible you were on vacation or just away from your phone having a good time.

Lots of people around here will be willing to give you any type of culture you're interested in..all you have to do  is ask for it.

Yeah! Life is nuts! We were in Maine. It was super fun! Got to hang out with the future in laws. I graduated, but now my business partner wants me to actually work… ugh. It’s so so hard for me to work from home. But I’m doing it and it’s keeping me crazy busy. I’m also going to a Music festival in 2 weeks so I will disappear again.

I actually have some swabs from the tall ass squaty mac and some b+ I am going to post.

I REALLY need to case my ATL7 box can I use just cactus soil? Idk if I have time to make a casing. I’m just too busy right now. There is a pin growing from the side of the tub do we REALLY need a casing? Haha :spank:

Thank you! It was so sick. I feel bad, they all live there and my girl is from back east, we now live on the west coast and in another country part time. But I love nature and was nerding out super hard. It was beautiful and the weather was perfect the whole time. Hot take - Maine has some of the best dispo weed in the US. I only went to med dispos but you get a free med card if you spend more than $25.

Yeah the dispos are pretty rad, it's a quality driven market for sure. There's certainly plenty of bottom of the barrel dad weed spots, but it's largely fairly boutique places and smaller cultivators. I def got cheaper weed out west when I visited a couple years ago, but I def prefer smoking stuff from out here. At least you've got good reason to come back east and visit!

I know I speak for the rest of us when I say.  Man am I so so so happy to get to be adding you to our very special club.

You absolutely deserve it. 

You've come some a long way from when you first started out here. 

I know I also speak  for the rest of us when I say you had a really rough start here.  You rubbed pretty much everyone the wrong way.  I specifically remember you saying at one point you were purposely trying to obtain as many ignores as you could.

Slowly over time though. you allowed yourself to start opening up to us and became more of an active member in our community..

I personally have never ever seen somebody struggle as much as when it comes to growing mushrooms.

More importantly ive never seen somebody struggle as much as  and fail endlessly  Without ever even talking about  giving up.. 

Seriously guys I'm talking about watching somebody fail  over and over and over and over again for more than a year straight.

And this guy just kept coming back with the attitude of I'm going to make it happen Whether you guys Believe it or not! 


And I am very happy to say that after all of that determination and hard work and failure. He  remained patient and humble and finally has successfully pushed out his first flush!!

I always had faith in you dude I'm very honored to be able to do this write  up for you. And I just can't wait to see how you continue to progress from here.

We all know how amazing and magical it is when you finally get that first successful grow. Hold on to that feeling and get to work my man.  You've got alot of catching up to do..
