I think that thing about the stuck song syndrome helped, it sure helped me with a lot of things.
especially seeing how it can be anything like numbers or other word sequences, or even just a physical tick, like picking around the fingernails.
a kind of familiar holding pattern.
anyway, this thread has taught me a lot.
