John Fetterman loses to "Someone Else" by 18 points * 2

That's right, 58% of Democratic voters said they would vote for someone (anyone) else. Shockingly, 40% of his constituents still support him, and I can't for the life of me work out why. I have to assume they just are not informed/they are ignorant.

Hopefully a good progressive/DSA candidate swoops in to snatch his seat in 2028.

I feel like a basic IQ test might be something useful, to determine who is elligible to hold public office in the first place. We should not be led by so MANY mindless idiots.

You actually don't really want intelligent politicians cause they're extremely deceptive.  You want politicians who are dumb and need guidance from their constituants on what to do.

Honestly just throw the whole system away.

Unfortunately, I do not have that option...

In the context of this thread, your argument doesn't really hold water, considering, the reason Fetterman is such a rabbid zionist is because he's borderline retarded, and has been aggressively lobbied by AIPAC. From what I understand, he has a representative of Israel that literally never leaves his office, and interacts with everyone that passes through the door.

What we really want, is people who are intelligent, and also have the best interest of the people at heart, but those type of people generally aren't attracted to public office. People like Mamdani.

I want extremely smart evil policy woks to be in office.  I'd rather evil political austic people like Lyndon Johnson who plan out details enriching themselves and the population. Then fetterman,trump, list dozens of congressmen who only got elected because of hatred of the other party candidates against them.

I believe it was Enlil, who used to (or maybe still does) have a hyperlink in his profile entitled "Fuck the Amish" or something like that... I think it led to an article about animal abuse?

Anyway, they are just awful. They are utterly abusive toward women, and animals. They regularly rape farm animals, for instance.

No.

He’s gone off the deep end after the stroke.

He’s still better than Oz but only marginally so. I regularly ride my bicycle through Braddock where Fettermen was mayor and cut his teeth. I know him well and knew him long before anybody here ever heard his name.
