I want to make a post that is a place for people to say exactly how they're going. Can be positive can be negative. Can ask for advice if you want or just vent/celebrate.

I'm making this coz I usually wanna just vent on Shroomery or talk about something random but I don't really know where to post. So I wanna make it on here. It's not really for The Pub because that can be a little testy.

Feel free to use this as a thread as if your best friend asked "How are you going?"

I'm feeling really good and calm. Honestly happy as fuck that I've kinda upended my life to learn the skills I have over the past year.

But I'm noticing that with the feeling of contentment, my ADHD stuff is going a bit haywire. I have a lot of energy and nowhere to put it because I got so used to having my negative thoughts spiral and use my energy on that.

It's not a bad thing to have happen but I am feeling super restless. I'm gonna consider seeing the psychiatrist again and trialling ADHD meds. It's only when I'm otherwise well I realise how bad my focus is.

How are you going?

On a scale from 0 to 10 I'll say 4.

I feel like we're in the beginning stages of dystopia.
I think most people have turned into, what practically amounts to NPC's incapable of critical thinking and original thought - that their social media algorithms and YouTube algorithms along with streaming entertainment are their puppetmasters.

The only way I can cope is to try to be the best person I can be and add some light to this dark world that I think is doomed yet I think individual souls are not yet beyond saving.

I see little hope but I think this is all for a reason and that this life is a mere test.

I think there's a darkness enveloping the world and genuine love is being extinguished and replaced by lust(love for the other replaced with pleasure for the self)

I don't think I would have made it this far if not for mushrooms vastly increasing my fortitude. I think life is like a video game - take shrooms and level up then life increases the difficulty lmao.

Doing great, mental health is pretty stable. No clinical depression episodes in quite some time, and the schizophrenia is as stable as it's going to get, so I just roll with that.

That’s great Ella. I think you should definitely chase that feeling and see how you can manage the ADHD. Life’s good when you’re feeling good. I have spent far too much of my life low and down I regret not seeking help on internal struggles sooner. Life’s far too short! :sun:

Well Ella, I’m so fucking happy it’s Friday. 2 days without work. I plan to be drunk in about an hour, and maybe tomorrow get some coffee with an old friend (the boundaries guy I told you about!).

So yeah, for the next 56 hours or so life is great :grin:

I destroyed a colony of yellow jackets and I'm not happy about that. I like insects and encourage their presence but in this situation my dog was at risk.
It did make me ponder how cool the hive heirachy is, the beauty of nature and karmic ripples.

Had some nasty virus for the last 10 days or so. Physical symptoms wise it was maybe a 5/10 but holy fuck it zapped all the energy out of me mentally, I really felt absolutely braindead and depressed all week.

Slowly getting some brainpower back, got outside for a walk today, hoping to do some bike riding this week
